Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star is a very famous traditional British nursery rhyme that dates back more than 200 years. Its melody is derived from the 18th-century French nursery rhyme Ah! Vous Dirai-je, Maman . When the renowned musician Mozart was 22 years old, he composed Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star Variations for his students based on this nursery rhyme. Later, the British female poet Jane Taylor wrote the English lyrics for it.
It is a classic among children's songs. With its simple and lively melody and innocent and elegant lyrics, it evokes people's imagination and joy, bringing a warm and dreamy feeling. This song not only accompanies children as they grow up but also serves as a childhood memory for many adults. It has extremely high artistic value and cultural influence.
The tune is very simple, but don't forget to practice following the beat!
