Shuang Mian Yan Xun(Double-Faced Yan Xun) is a classic soundtrack from the TV drama Princess Agents , composed by Zhang Libo and arranged by Tan Xuan.
The piece depicts the changes in the state of mind of Yan Xun, a character in the drama. Yan Xun was initially a bright, kind, and elegant young man, but after his family's downfall, he became resolute and ruthless. The melody of the first half of the music is fresh and natural, just like Yan Xun's kindness and beauty in his early days; the second half turns gloomy and full of crisis, reflecting Yan Xun's darkened state of mind. The striking contrast between the two parts earns it the name "Double-Faced".
This piece later became widely known as the background music for the dance The Walk of Beauties . Its beautiful melody complements the dance perfectly, winning the love of numerous listeners and audiences.
