Xiang Xu(Mutual Commitment) is a pure music score specially created by the renowned music producer Hu Xiao'ou for the ancient costume drama New Life Begins . It was launched simultaneously with the original soundtrack of the drama in 2022. As the emotional theme melody for the "Shan Zheng Hai Wei" CP in the drama, this piece takes "Eternal Commitment" as its core. Through the integration of traditional musical instruments such as string instruments, the guzheng, and the flute with modern arrangements, it has become one of the representative works of contemporary "New Chinese Style" pure music.
At the beginning of the piece, the overtone of the guzheng outlines an ethereal feeling.
