China-E is an iconic Chinese-style pure music piece composed by Chinese electronic music producer Xu Mengyuan. This sheet music is written in the key of D♭. It is most suitably performed on a small A♭ bamboo flute with the closed-hole note as 2. However, the more common practice is to lower the key by one and perform on a G bamboo flute with the closed-hole note as 2, or raise the key by one and perform on a D bamboo flute with the closed-hole note as 5.
